Mabee Farm’s 2nd Annual Fiber Fair
I’ll be a vendor at Mabee Farm’s 2nd Annual Fiber Fair. It’s this Saturday, October 6th, from 10am to 4pm.

“Join us for the Mabee Farm Historic Site’s 2nd Annual Fiber Fair October 6, 2012 from 10 am – 4 pm. Spend a glorious day along the banks of the Mohawk River. Demonstrations of weaving, spinning, hand dyeing, knitting, felting, rug hooking, quilting, crocheting and more. Also on hand will be animals used in making fiber: llamas, alpacas, rabbits and sheep. Items will also be for sale. A sheep to shawl lecture will be held at 11 am and at 2 pm, a lecture on using natural materials such as plants for dyeing. $3. adults, $2. seniors and children (includes a free tour of the historic buildings).”
Southern Adirondack Fiber Festival
I’ll be a vendor at the Southern Adirondack Fiber Festival this year. The Festival is this weekend, September 22 & 23, from 10am to 5pm both days. I’ll be in building 21, space 55. Stop by to say “hi” and check out all the fibery goodness I’ll have for sale!
